About The Rural Dietitian

Welcome to The Rural Dietitian! I'm Bek, Accredited Practising Dietitian and local to Wangaratta.

I was extremely fortunate to be raised on a beautiful farm in North East Victoria, observing my grandfather grow crops and farm cattle, and having a chef as a dad, my future was destined to involve all things food!

I'm passionate about guiding you to meet your nutrition goals and support a positive relationship with food. I have over five years experience as a Dietitian working with a variety of health issues and nutrition related goals, including but not limited to diabetes, gut health, cancer, sporting performance, irritable bowel syndrome, eating disorders and disordered eating, and infant introduction to solids.

Do you feel guilty when eating certain foods? Are you introducing your baby to solids and have no idea where to start? Are you searching the web for nutrition information and finding conflicting answers? Do you feel flat when exercising? Are your cholesterol levels high? Nutrition can influence our health and performance, and if these questions have got you thinking, reach out, I'd love to hear from you!
